Conversation at Quai des Bulles, St Malo.

From 29th of october to 1st of november I will be at the Quai des Bulles, St Malo to explore the possibilities of the festival for next year. Then we will join the festival with a group of Dutch comic-artists with the theme 'Voici mon Histoire'.

On sunday the 31d I will have a conversation in Palais du Grand Large (11.30 hrs.) with Jean-David Morvan about Madeleine, Résistante, which he created together with Dominique Bertail and my graphic novels Eclats and Cicatrices.

I read the post about the artist’s chat at the Quai des Bulles comics festival in St Malo where he planned to meet other creators and talk about his graphic novels like Eclats and Cicatrices at the Palais du Grand Large, which sounds like such an interesting way to share stories and inspiration with fans and fellow artists.  When I was really stuck on a big coding project last term I once relied on Help with university assignment to turn my messy notes into clear steps so I could finish before the deadline. That taught me that a bit of support when you are overwhelmed can make hard work feel easier and help you grow in confidence.

I liked how the author shared his plan to be at the Quai des Bulles comics festival in Saint‑Malo and talk with other artists about their work and stories because it felt like a genuine moment of creative connection in the comics world. When I was once stressed with tests and deadlines, I relied on online exam helpers to calm my mind and stay focused on my goals so I could enjoy fun moments like this too. That made me see how support can make tough times easier. Your post make me smile.

As soon as I was able hold a pencil you could find me drawing at the dinner table. However it took me another 40 years before I made my debut as a graphic novelist.

As a narrative artist I yearn to create stories that move people. I hope to achieve this by searching for the 'great' in the 'small', for the 'extraordinary' in the 'ordinary'.

I try to catch all this in a crisp and clean style for which

I am indebted to artists I deeply admire: Yves Chaland, Joost Swarte, Seth and Chris Ware.
